The European style of a pivot door usually a flush design lacking trim to only convey a flush transition from wall to door.

PIVOT DOOR SLAB:

The pivot door is a slab in an opening held by the specialize pivot hardware. Install differently than a swing door the jamb stops tend to be sides only.

You can see in this illustration their is no trim at top or bottom above the door as it pivots ceiling to floor.  Note: these types of doors are usually custom so, expect to pay for custom.  The common door slabs can be made into pivot doors, it may take some pre-planning to build your opening to accommodate the pivot door.
